How to wake up early.

Have you ever tried waking up really early, but just keep on hitting the snooze button? We all have.

In the beginning of the year I “read” {listened via audible} a book about morning routines, called “the Miracle Morning”
Its a game changer.
I don’t always get up early, but what I have noticed is that it really does make a huge difference to your day.

There are many people out there that have different opinions on how to wake up early, and I will tell you what works for me, but in the end, you need to decide for yourself, how badly do you want to.

The trick is to make it a habit.

The motivation

You will need to know your why. Why do you want to wake up early? Is it to be better than others, and put more “work-hours” in. Do you wake up early to have a quite time? My motivation is simple, I read the book of Proverbs, its a book of ancient wisdom and sayings, I have read that book 1000 times. And there is one or two sayings in there that has really made an impact on me.
Here they are:

If you love sleep, you will end in poverty. Keep your eyes open, and there will be plenty to eat!

 

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.

Now those proverbs got my attention, and its what drives me. Another saying that I heard from my grandmother, she told me that my Great Grandfather used to say this: “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

But there is something else that is special about waking up early that I really enjoy.
It makes me feel alive. I get to journal, think, read, and write blog posts like I’m doing now…
It is a time where I can reflect and enjoy my morning coffee, to listen, to be at peace.

So I challenge you, to try it out and let me know what you think about waking up early.

Here is something I have found that could be useful to you. I have found myself oversleeping or not waking up with passion for the day, only on the days that I don’t write down my goals or tasks for the next day.

But there is something else, it has to be exciting. It doesn’t work if the task/goal is a boring or unimportant thing.

Therefore, to help you on waking up early:

1) Write down what you are going to do at that specific time.
“e.g: at 5:00am I will write a blog post for TLOD! And it will be about xyz.”

2) Make sure it excites you or is important to you nolvadex australia.
